That holiday is coming up. I think I will celebrate it quietly and alone here. It's no big deal to me.

The return to the city has been uneventful. Even so, I prefer it here amongst the life.

Still, the power went out a few days ago, that was worrisome when I managed to get out of the cafe and return to a cold home.

That was certainly odd, but I'm not going to question why or how certain people end up doing those things in a public area. Ah, well, they seemed to be happy enough even if it looked dangerous... I don't judge.

I really do need to do something about getting out but it seems no one's out these early mornings anymore but the few. Miss Mihoshi was very nice, though, I did enjoy having dinner/breakfast with her. I hope our schedules can allow for another meal at some point.

There are a lot of new faces around town, though, I've noticed. It's a pleasant occurrence for things to be moving and shaking though it seems hard to get in the swing of it all. Perhaps I should look into getting a job that's more beneficial to the masses than simply scraping up enough to get by.

Aha~! a new place. Cross is such a nice city, so far. The sunshine's good, and it's warm. I want to go out later today; I'm a little tired, but I want to get familiar with the area. It seems a little lonely in this little apartment, but it's all I could afford for now. A little bare, too, but that will be solved next, I think. The subway system is good transit, too, and it's not expensive at all, so that's nice.
